Leritz Contracting is pleased to announce that we have been awarded the street resurfacing project on your subdivision street. This notice provides the scope of work and projected time frame so you can plan accordingly.

Our work includes pavement cleaning and tacking, placing a new 2” asphalt surface over the existing roadway of 3 separate streets.

Tentative Schedule

  • On all working days, work will begin at about 7:00 AM and finish about 5:00 PM, and the road will be closed to traffic on that day
  • Please prepare for some delays if you leave your house after 7:00 AM
  • You will be free to use the streets after about 5:00 PM or whenever we finish our work.

Tenative Start June 13th: Overlaying the Court on Sawmill

  • Area in red on the map below

Tenative Start July 14th: Overlaying the court and partial roadway

  • Area in blue on the map below

Tenative Start July 15th: Overlay 2 separate sections of Shiloh Acres

  • Area in green on the map below

Notes

  • Please be advised that we will apply a tack coat to the old surface to bond the new asphalt layer.
  • This is a very sticky black substance that will stain your automobiles and driveways, particularly concrete driveways.
  • Please do not drive through the tack coat and onto your driveways.

*We must have dry weather to perform this work. Rain or a threat of rain will cause us to postpone our work until the next weekday. Of course, if an emergency arises, we will stop our work and move out of the way for emergency vehicles.

To Help Plan Your Day, Here Are Some Reminders

Postpone Home Maintenance

Including Lawn Maintenance.

There will be no room for pickup trucks or trailers to maneuver.

Postpone Deliveries

Including Amazon, UPS, FedEx, appliances, furniture, etc., for the same reasons listed previously.

Do Not Run Sprinkles

Specifically on the days our crews are working. We cannot pave a wet street.

Do Not Let Pets Run Loose

They can burn their paws on the hot asphalt or get black goo on their paws and track it into your home.

Mark Exterior Systems

Including sprinkler systems, dog fences, and other items; they are the homeowner's responsibility.

Thank you for your confidence in our company. At Leritz Busy Bee, we know all things asphalt and paving. Our expert team is ready to work with you on new pavement projects, asphalt maintenance, & municipal asphalt projects. We're here to help!
